The US Product Consumer Product Safety Commisson has issued a recall on about 346,000 DeWalt Cordless drills because the trigger switch can overheat, posing a fire hazard. They were sold between June 2006 and Dec 2007. It involves drills with the Model Numbers DC920, D930, DC935, DC936, and DC940. Call DeWalt at 888-742-9168 or visit DEWALT.com for information on repairs. DeWalt Recall.pdf This notice appeared in our local newspaper this past weekend, and thought it would be of interest to the FIRST community. |
