Do you guys think these Honeywell sensors would work looking at the SIDE of a gear instead of at the teeth directly?
Edit: I meant looking at the side of the teeth. Right at the edge of the gear. Drilling a 3/4 hold in the side of the gearbox looks like it could weaken it. For those that did drill it, did you have any problems? How big does the hole need to be. Our sensors should be arriving today. Brian Last edited by SuperBK : 25-01-2008 at 08:52. |
