**FIRST EMAIL**/"Communicating within Your Community" Teleconference - Thurs, Jan.31

Greetings Teams:

The FIRST Senior Mentors announce they will be hosting an important Teleconference call for all Team Mentors this Thursday, January 31, at 7 pm EST.

"Communicating within Your Community" explores the means and methods of establishing effective communication pathways into your community. This call may be particularly beneficial toward developing some amazing key support as you roll toward your regionals. The call will be led by Senior Mentor Kathie Kentfield and will include: importance of community outreach, identifying your audience, where should you be communicating?, getting help from the team, preparing your team for the media, resources you can use, and suggestions for contacting your local media.

All team mentors are welcome. The call in number is 1-800-503-2899 and the access code is 6663906. We will have 50 lines available, so it will be first come, first served. This call will be recorded and available for replay here, http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=498.

Please Join Us!

Again, all team mentors are welcome, especially those attached to rookie teams.

Go Teams!
