I have been waiting for the same thing. The season just does not seem complete without the annual prognostications of our resident oracle.

But whilst we wait to receive enlightenment from upon high, I will offer up a little prediction of my own:

At least once during the season, a Trackball will leap over the extended guard rails, escape the field, and take out the entire scoring table (computers and all) before anyone can react and corral it.

I'm working on a plan to protect the scoring table with a barrier of chain-link fencing. Similar barriers protect bands performing at rough establishments, such as punk clubs and biker bars. Or so I've been told by some former punks and bikers.

I saw an email from Car-Nack the other day. He is around. Well... from what I saw this summer, he is less a"round" that he was the last couple of years. ha!
