Yes, you need a spike controlled via an RC Relay port.
The solenoid connects to the Spike M+/M- terminals. A single-action solenoid connects the red wire to M+ and the black wire to M-. A double-action solenoid (two sets of wires) connects one red to M+, the other red to M-, and both black ground wires to the ground on a fuse block or other appropriate ground connection. |
