Wednesday afternoon is uncrate (3 only, one must be adult); Thursday-Saturday is competition, ending with the wrap party Saturday night. Opening ceremonies are Friday morning only.

Saturday night? Don't bother, unless you skip the Awards Ceremony/final matches AND the wrap party. Awards end around 7 (ignore the schedule, it's very optimistic, putting it mildly); I'm not sure when the wrap party ends.

Last year's very comprehensive schedule for reference:

The only missing thing on that PDF file is the opportunity to unpack your robot on Wednesday night..
This is usually offered from 5-8 (or 9) pm if I'm not mistaken.

I believe it was 6-9 pm last year. Registration is also open at that time, if I recall correctly.
