The west coast and Florida regionals will be carried on NASA TV. We are currently deciding what we will do for the Texas and Virginia regionals. Since they are both on the same weekend, we are not yet sure if we will be able to cover one or the other or both.

We are very interested in learning the details specific to the NASA TV broadcasts. How can we learn more? We are a rookie team, we are knowledge/information sponges. We would like to know the broadcast schedule.

The specs for satellite access to NASA TV are the same as those used for the kickoff broadcast. I don't have them right now, but will look them up tomorrow and post them.

The exact schedule is still being finalized, but here is what we are trying to do: for each regional that is covered, NASA TV will cover the full day of competition on Saturday (the finals for each regional). We will also cover as much as possible of the Thursday and Friday events, as long as it does not conflict with coverage of any ongoing Space Shuttle flights (right now, the STS-99 flight is scheduled to launch on Feb 11 and land Feb 22, but launch delays may cause changes to the schedule at any time).

NASA-TV is broadcast on GE-2, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees West longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical and audio is monaural at 6.8 MHz.
