Lap Times

I know there is one other thread with this discussion but i wanted to get some data with a pole

so i am wondering what is the average lap times for your team's bot

it would also be nice to get some details

such as what the lap time was on the inside/middle/outside tracks, while doing swalloms etc....

any info would be greatly appreciated

Re: Lap Times

10.79 is our fast time. But we are going to swap out our KOP 15 tooth sprockets with 18's on our gearbox's so I'm looking forward to even faster times.

Re: Lap Times

I think our fastest is a bit under 15sec... We were practicing in the library though, so we had to be a bit careful (especially with only like 6-7ft on each side of our "divider", and chairs as the ends of the divider.... I think one is missing a little chip now). Several seconds could be easily dropped off of that by having more room to maneuver, and not having to worry about ramming a bookshelf .

Re: Lap Times

I think we can make the lap in 7-10 seconds unobstructed with relative ease. Maybe with excessive practice on a good day, we MIGHT be able to make it in just less than 7, but that's pushing it.
