With all the drag racing to the wall going on,the teams that stay back may get a large share of the balls. If a couple of bots crash into the balls, they will just spread all over the place and some will end up back on the other side of the goal.

This is a viable strategy for a team who has an alliance partner that cannot get across the goal/ramp effectively. They can just sit back, collect the stray balls then get the rest from the human player. In the meantime, the other robot can continue to harass the other two robots on that side and maybe even pick up a few balls.
