2 motors into 1 gearbox
How would you put 2 fisher price or 2 globe motors into a single gearbox? We are trying to get the fisher price into a very small gearbox (planetary) and need the motors to face the same direction. How have teams done this successfully in the past?

Re: 2 motors into 1 gearbox
You need to replace the sun (the pinion on the motor placed in the planetary) with another gear. Then drive that gear with a seperate gearbox that links the two motors to a single output. This could be as simple as a single larger gear linked directly to the input of the planetary, driven by both motors.
