telescoping is far more complicated than an arm that uses mechanisms similair to drawer slides and its a lot harder to build/fix. i personally dont recomend them, but whatever suits you guys, happy building!

It is a good bit more complicated, but we've worked out alot of the kinks to where it is a bit harder to machine but pretty easy to fix and wonderful in performance.
