Re: What r ur robot weights as of right now

We weigh in at around 90 pounds pre-Lexan. We haven't weighed in our "special attachment" yet either. It probably weighs about 5-6 pounds tops though. Were good.

Re: What r ur robot weights as of right now

we must be the light weights at 60-65 which includes pnuematics, drive, and electrical. We still have to add some supports and a flag holder but that will add a max of 10lbs. and we still need to figure out how to attach our bumpers

We want to lower our center of gravity by adding weight to the chassis. But right now our manipulator is pretty light compared to the drivetrain.

Our school has an accurate electronic scale that our wrestling team ::edited::

It also works well for our 105 lb robot as of tonight. We have about 16 pounds more to add, including the code- all that code can get heavy! With hardware reduction, we might just make it. Now if it will actually work

Re: What r ur robot weights as of right now

Inventor says 118 lbs with everything on it, the robot is still in pieces/components, so once assembled (by the end of Saturday) we will find out for sure. We are cutting it close.

Re: What r ur robot weights as of right now

110. that is without our finishing covering and what not and the ball knocking down device.

dont you just love cheeseholes? we have a cake thats about a foot in diameter and 6 inches deep of our shavings from our cheeseholed 1x3" 54" long tiers.

took off about 3-4 pounds

-Vivek

EDIT: hmm... we do keep the robot in the same room as the snacks... and all of our cheez-its seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate... the robot keeps gaining weight and the food keeps disappearing... I wonder...

Re: What r ur robot weights as of right now

I think a couple of days ago we weighed everything, and added 10 pounds for electronics/wires. If I remember correctly, it was 84 pounds

we've never had a robot this light... most years we have to apply the swiss cheese diet.
Maybe we'll put in more structural support? who can tell.
