Holonomic Programming???

We at the skunkworks have had a ball trying to program the holonomic drive to work. If anyone has a mini-guide to programming such a system that would be woderful! Any help with this is appreciated. Speed controls, Gyros, accelerometers, with all this what should we do (getting the robot to go straight seems to be the biggest issue) ??? I'm not big into the programming part of our team but I feel the need to get the word out. I believe we use easy c or c.

(we have a tank layout that we will end up using in our fist regional but we would all like to get holonomic running)

Thanks a bunch!!

This whitepaper has been invaluable to us:

You will likely want either a gyro or wheel encoders to close the loop on your drivetrain, or else getting it to go straight will be insanely difficult.
