The first time I read the manual i noticed that the real balls will way approximately 10lbs. this is four or five pounds heavier then the practice ball, and would have a lot more force if hit by it, iv'e noticed a large amount of robots have no protection and my not be calibrated to lift 10lbs. because they calibrate it to lift the practice one, is this a big flaw, or is the practice balls the real ones? because I doubt it.. but idk, what does everyone think?

Re: Protection
I think they changed that, the balls received in the kit are the official ones.

Re: Protection
Yeah, there was an error in the manual. The balls recieved in the kit should be accurate.

Re: Protection
Please do yourself a favor and read your updates. This was addressed in update 4; they weigh approx. 7.3lbs according to the update.
Please keep on top of this as there have been other important rule changes/clarifications in updates. JBot |
