An ongoing discussion within our team is how many different color/style shirts we will have. We think FIRST asks for teams to be recognizable and therefore wear the same color everday. How many color/style shirts will your team have?

Yes FIRST wants teams to be identified easily.

Chief Delphi has two basic shirts. Same logo one light, one dark. Dark is bad in the sun in Fl.

We simplified....one t-shirt, grey with our logo and other info on it. Grey works well for FL and the regionals, and making one color saves precious money!

Some of our kids had 'em last year... while us coaches had those silly tukes.

I almost dressed up like Don King, believe it or not! I even had the wig... but chickened out.

This year... we're a Motorsports team... racing and all. Hopefully, our 'bot will be fast. Our robot base will be a car and there is a VERY large 'snake' (ball collection chute) coming out of the top of the car, driving it along... kinda wierd, but it works for us.

Is BORG having a 'theme'?

Andy

Hey Lora....if you're really thinking of jumpsuits at Nationals, I'll tell you that we did that last year. They were short-sleeved and lightweight fabric.....and WAY TOO HOT!

It wasn't LORA who said so. it was me, ANTON.

Was it really HOT? gee, ok. I think we we're just planning to wear it as a team on the airplane or something. i'll take it into account. but i think we're getting them for free.... so...

Team #349 (Ford and International Academy) has 3 shirts. Look for us in the blue Hawaiian shirts, hot pink shirts, and white golf shirts. Overkill? I think we're still looking for our identity!

Team 57 is gonna have two different shirts. They're baseball style shirts that're mostly white with colored sleeves. I believe we'll have two different colors for the sleeves, but the logo, etc. will be mostly the same. besides, we've got all that cool Leopard stuff anyways. I think we'll stand out.

PS. yes leopards, not tigers. the Exxon Mobil merger left our mascot in legal limbo... :^( we were dismayed, but have decided to make the most of the situation. So we went with the next coolest big cat... hehehe
