Re: Wiring The IR Board

Sure. Just do a search on CD and look at the documentation on the FIRST Website. This same question has been asked before so I know there is an answer in at least a couple other places.

Re: Wiring The IR Board

I can help you with that. What we did was we soldered PWM cables to the IR board. The way to do it is to first cut the male ends off of four PWM cables and solder all of the red wires on the PWM cable to the wires that hook up to pins 1 and 2 on the ribbon cable. Than you want to solder all of the black wires from the PWN cable to the wires that hook up to pins 3 and 4. After that you want to individually solder the white wires to pins 5, 6, 7, and 8. Finally plug the female ends of the PWM cable into the robot controller where you put your digital inputs.

Be very careful though and make sure you use shrink wrap [or electrical tape if you have to] because if you don't you might short something and that would be no good.
