Does anybody know anything about the 2009 RC?
I'm really curious. I'm looking at the new vex systems, and some of the features like wireless programing and Linux compatibility look pretty spiffy...

I hope they reveal the control system well before next year. We usually try to teach newbies C during the beginning of the school year. We were also thinking of buying a co-processor over the summer.
How lame would it be if we spent $200 on something like a gumstix, tought all of our newbies C, only to find that we are using an Xscale processor with JAVA. I personally am rooting for a faster proc (with hardware float support), USB built in, and open source progging software. (though if we can use WINE like we can now, i would be happy) |
