pressure switch

we lost the pressure switch to our pressure gauge
is the switch necessary?
do you really need it?

Re: pressure switch

The pneumatic system has several required parts and the pressure switch connected to the RC is one of those parts. You must show that the compressor is under control of the RC and using the presure switch to turn off the compressor. You also need a regulator and at least two guages to show high side (~125 PSI) and low side (60 PSI or below) pressures. The compressor needs to be controlled through a Spike relay and the fuse in that relay only may be replaced by a 20 amp auto resetting circuit breaker. Full pneumatic rules are contained the Section 8 The Robot.
