Driving a robot from New Hampshire to California

Hello, FRC team #166 would like to build a robot to be driven across the country. We are planning on starting at a point on the coast, go by FIRST Place, then go to Google and the west coast. But of course, we cannot do this alone. This is why we want other teams to volunteer to bring it across their states. We have a Google group set up here. We have a few pages set up about safety, the route we want to take, and the features of the robot. Any suggestions about any of these topics or other topics would be greatly appreciated.

Two years ago, at the championships in Atlanta, a representative from Google suggested that we build a robot to drive across the country. This year, an endeavor like this seems to work very well with Dean's homework, which is to get media attention for FIRST.

So basically, we need teams to volunteer to drive the robot through their state. We picked a string of states with the highest density of FIRST teams we could find. The path can be changed based on who volunteers, as it is really only a suggestion.
