: WHO WON?

Heat Wave and Bomb Squad won it all. The Baxter combination only lost one match (I think?) during the finals.

Heat Wave was number one seed and did everything important very well. Bomb Squad played defense much of the time and could hang on the bar. They also can knock your balls out from the bottom.

We were teamed with the Disney team as the 8th alliance and went against the Baxter Duo. Unfortunately two of us had mechanical difficulties. Not sure we could match their scoring anyway. Many of the KSC matches became defensive struggles.

Now that we are all TV stars on NASA select, Bomb Squad and our team (ComBBAT) will be in Chicago. Heat Wave is talking about trying to come.

See you soon.

Scott (the one with clam-digger camo pants and bats on his hat)

Baxter and Baxter won together with Bosch along for the ride. We came in t-3? congrats to tham 343-342 rookies who amazed us all with effcient scoring and hanging. Actually beating Baxter in one final match, but baxter overcame it all and won. Congrats to you all.

Andrew

p.s. Bosch wasn't just along for the ride they just didn't go in.

:

Bosch is the best third partner that could be asked for. They were a much better machine than just a backup and could have filled the offensive or defensive roles if needed. It was just that each match dictated a definite plan that needed special abilities. It also makes a big difference in how you play if you are confident that you have a reliable backup waiting in the wings. The Bosch drivers helped move the robots, change batteries, develop the game plan, even brought water to us on stage. They were a real part of the team, and we were proud to have them walk with us for the awards.
