Mounting the IR board

How have you all been mounting your IR boards on the robot? We are unsure of how/where to mount ours and would like some advice. Thanks so much!!

You can pretty much mount it anywhere. Just make sure that it can get the signal from the remote.

we put the back on some plexuglass, then zip-tied i to our tower

we mounted it on some insulating foam and bolted it to the robot and added some protections around it.

we mounted it safely on the electronics board within our robot the soldered on some extension cables and put the sensor at the highest point of our bot... it seems to work very well
