small joystick pots??

I am looking for a small joystick like you would find on an a radio control airplane controller. I saw a link to these somewhere but I cannot find it now. Anybody know where I can find these? I guess they are just pots with a centering system. Something that can easily be operated with just a thumb.
Thanks

Re: small joystick pots??

I think that's called a gimbal assembly but under "joystick" Newark sells these

But they are a bit pricey and you'd probably have to change the pots to 100K if you want to use them for a FIRST OI interface.

Same with mouser

I think some RC transmitters have a gimbal assembly and if you know a type you might try finding one on e-bay for parts and salvaging the units.

Good luck

Steve
