autonomous mode

Question, do we need the IR board/sensor to initiate autonomous mode at the beginning of the round? I've heard that officials change all the robots to autonomous mode when the round starts automatically.

Re: autonomous mode

you don't need it unless you programmed your auto to start with the ir, other than that, put it in the right spot in the code, and first will do the rest!!

Re: autonomous mode

No you do not need to have the IR decoder board. The officials start autonomous through the radio.

Whether or not you programmed it to " start with autonomous" the autonomous routine will still start and run without the IR Board.
