How many teams are really using the ir

We plan on using it to "nudge" the robot a bit to the left and right, and to knock the ball off the overpass

We are telling the robot where the ball(s) are in the 1st few feet then the bots on its own.

we plan on using it for our entire "hybrid." we were able to practice since week 4 on the code and sending the signal

After reprogramming our IR, we have had good luck with it and we have a great program on it and a good Robocoach. That's about all we can control, when you could have up to six teams sending IR signals, I can foresee problems.

but doesn't anyone realize when you try it with two t.v remotes it jams?

We're using ours to move left/right and get the ball off. We're using our fourth button to send it around the track until time is up. We haven't tried using multiple remotes to see if it will jam. We're hoping that it works and doesn't explode or anything...
