well, I found human player shooting very difficult. I was our team backup driver and backup human player. Through a twisted series of events, I ended up the main driver, but I remember all the practice I had as the backup human player. We had a goal constructed of PVC pipes. The human player and I made almost every shot. It was very easy. However, the goals at the competition are a lot more rigid, and there is a lot of wires and lights and stuff obstructing our view. It seems as if human player scoring is not something to be relied upon heavily. I found that it is effective having the human player shoot all the yellow balls, but bounce the black ball right to an ally machine, just to be safe.
