Anyone know if this is on, or close to a MARTA line?
It is not. It's actually in Lawrenceville, about 45 minutes from the Georgia Dome, north-east along I-85.

At first I thought this was the Georgia Renaissance Festival, but upon investigation, it appears to be something different.

I haven't seen the Medieval Times Georgia Castle, but from the website, it appears to be the same as other Medieval Times shows. Basicly you eat dinner while watching a show, primarily jousting. The Renaissance Festival, on the other hand, is far more "interactive".

As long as the weather's good, the Ren Faire is a lot of fun, and I recommend going if you can. I've gone on Sunday after FIRST for the last few years. (My sister actually worked there, so I was able to get a comp ticket, but she's not there this year; I'm still planning on going.)

The Ren Faire is about 45 minutes south-west along I-85 in Fairburn, GA.
