Detroit Regional Robots
I have not seen any posts yet about the Detroit Regional. There seems to be several highly competitive teams participating this year so good luck to everyone. I thought this would be a nice place to let teams talk about thier robots and hopefully post some pictures and videos.
Team 1528 is a launching robot that can also land the ball at the end of the match. Here is a video link to one of our practices. I could not get any video of the robot actually shooting the trackball over the track. However, I did have a student who is 6'5" tall stand right in front of the robot and standing still the robot easily shot the ball over his head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9_9F6Es3Uk |
