Re: Does your teams robot have an offical name?
This year, our robot is named Lightning. We wanted something to reflect the fast-paced nature of this year's racing-themed game, and something that sounded cool.
Previous robot names and reasons: 07 bot: Dynamite. We had a whole cheer about how "the ÜberBots are Dynamite!" 06 bot: Chainey. There was so much chain in that robot. And it broke a lot. 05 bot: ChubbBot. Our main sponsor at the time was UTC Chubb. 04 bot: Marvin II. Named after the previous years' robot, Marvin, but then the second generation. 03 bot: Marvin. I don't really know how it got that name; I'd have to ask someone who was around then.
