Re: IRI 2008- Name-a-game

We actually got a mean game of track ball hacky sack going on. It was suprisingly easy, once everyone figured out how much force need be applied.

Candidate for funniest display of the Trackball. Also, trackball soccer has my vote.

If you could go outside and play - trackball kickball? A little less high contact than soccer. Schedule it for the next fire alarm. :-P

Just remember folks, it needs to be safe...getting kicked in the face with a trackball would more then likely not be considered "safe" by the committee.

Spoilsport

Hey, if Andy thinks Trackball Surfing is safe, there will be at least one vote on the committee equivalent to "Anything Goes".

Re: IRI 2008- Name-a-game

Wusses!

Sure, soccer is fun and easy, but c'mon, we don't even get what baseball is for (because it certainly isn't a sport) but have played it with our trackball. Two-and-a-half inch diameter, seven feet long steel pipes make perfect bats! The loud, smashing, "there goes your $100 trackball) sound is indescribable.

Re: IRI 2008- Name-a-game

I vote for human overdrive during field breaks. It'd be interesting to see how scores compare, since humans will be a much easier time of acquiring the ball, but certainly won't be as fast as robots while carrying it. Helmets would probably be necessary though.

Hmmmm....human hybrid blocking. I choose Big Mike, Brandon Martus, and me for one alliance.

How about Trackball shot put? It'd be the closest thing to human hurdling.

I also vote for Human Overdrive. You have to choose whether you're a hurdler, herder, shooter, or speed configuration. Sounds fun.

Re: IRI 2008- Name-a-game

Human Overdrive and Trackball Shot Put are the winning two right now....keep 'em coming folks.

I will make a poll within the next week, with the top ideas that are also logical for the conditions that we have to play with.
