Ordering more parts through the IGUS donation

Has anyone else successfully gotten additional IGUS products through the donation system on their website? I placed a request for some more of their energy chain on February 11th, and still haven't gotten anything. I called IGUS today and they said that the request was processed on February 18th, but they didn't have access to the warehouse system to see when it shipped out, if it did.

Even though it's after ship day, it'd be nice to put on when we get to LSR (March 20) to keep the wires for our lift together, but it's not crucial for our design.

Has anyone else had better luck?

Re: Ordering more parts through the IGUS donation

Our team had a wonderful experience with Igus. We ordered parts for our robot, but also included a description of what we were using the parts for. They contacted us and advised a better way of doing it, and shipped us those better parts. We got it roughly 8 days after ordering.

Anyone can watch Westcoast Choppers and see adults build things, but FIRST is great because it encourages kids to do the building and adults to do the watching.

Re: Ordering more parts through the IGUS donation

I rodered some of the free parts through IGUS and recieved it within a week. Their slide mechanisms seem rugged and sturdy. I will remember them for next year!

Re: Ordering more parts through the IGUS donation

My team did it and it took them forever (about 3 weeks) for them to ship it out. I really shouldn't complain since i really appreciate the donation, but i would have appreciated them sending em a tracking number site i had to call the igus rep a bunch of times to get status updates.

This is the first year we used their products and it works great! Thank you Igus!
