Greetings Teams:

We want to make sure all teams understand the event-to-event shipping process.

When your team makes arrangements to ship to its next event, it may do so via the following ONLY*:

• Shepard Exposition Services;
• FedEx Donated Shipping - IMPORTANT: You may ship via FedEx using the complimentary shipping provided through the FIRST program only. It is not permissible to use a personal or business FedEx Account.
• Back-to-Back event teams must use Shepard Exposition Services

*Teams shipping between the events in Canada should follow the guidelines set forth on the Robot Shipping page, http://www.usfirst.org/frc_robot_shipping.

If you have any questions refer to Section 4.9.3 "Shipping from Event to Event" of the 2008 FRC Manual.

For the Canadian teams out there, as I'm sure many of you recall last year there was some issue with getting the crates from Waterloo to Mississauga, and Karen Rosenthal pulled through for us. She said at the Kickoff at the Science Centre that a trucking company (TransX, i believe, and i'm fairly certain its the same company that came to the rescue last year) had stepped up to the plate this year, and that it would not be an issue. Not to mention she gave us her personal proclamation that the robots would get there, trucking company or not.
