I'm pretty sure that the team you want to be thanking is 174.

Congrats to all four teams!

Haha Thanks for correcting the typo for Casey. I think we're all still riding high from today's event.

With the Finger lakes Regional Broadcast live over cable - Every alliance raised the competition level and excitement that made the viewers at home wishing they were at the event. Thanks you teams!

I second Casey's appreciation to Team 20, 2053, and 174. Also Thanks to the blue alliance 378,1126, and 1551 for the sportsmanship shown to our team during the mishap that occurred.

I hope everyone got home safely through the blizzard.

Ellery

Re: Thank you Team 20, 2053 and 174

Thanks to all three of our fantastic alliance partners.

20-You guys were such fast hurdlers and a fantastic team to work with.

2053-Great lapbot with even better strategic defense

174-Had an amazing final match and won the regional for us with those hurdles.

Sorry to all that we had to pull out after finals match one but ecstatic that our incredibly solid alliance still made it through.

To 378, 1126, and 1551,

Thanks for giving us three great finals matches that truly could have gone either way.

378 was the most consistent robot all the way from thursday through saturday and that backwards slam dunk was awesome to watch.

1126-You guys are awesome, so gracious, in attempting to call your timeout for us, offering any help we needed, consistent friendliness, and of course a great robot. All of the X-Cats are thankful to have 1126 as a sister team.

1551-Another incredibly consistent hurdler who played good strategic defense, a word you'll be seeing a lot this year. A fantastic third pick.

And last but not least, the big guns.

I am always so impressed by the friendliness of every single person i talk to on 340 and 1511. With the incredible mentors and students on your teams, it's not surprising that you are the perennial contenders for chairmans and EI. Both teams do so much for the community and deserve more credit than they get.

So congratulations to 340 on Chairmans and 1511 on Engineering Inspiration.

I know that in the next couple of years we're gonna see one of you winning these awards at Championships and the X-Cats will be there cheering their butts off.

Congratulations to all other teams who made it an incredible competition.

Go FIRST!
