Well, one day I was talking to my partner in action(arm operator)and she mentioned something about her pillow, when all of a sudden somebody says, 'You sleep with a floppy for one of your pillows?'

Have you ever heard of somebody sleeping with a Floppy? I never heard of it. I thought I would share that with you guys. I found that so funny!

I did in the New England Regional pits last year...does that count?? =) Though all I remember that ours were kinda itchy because we made our basket out of fiberglass fabric. Fiberglass is nasty stuff *shudders*

Lora, Yes, I guess that could count. But she sleeps with it every night.

there's a picture of one of the girls on GaelForce sleeping on a floppy on the tool bench one night...that's funny! Everyone else is hammering, drilling, etc., and there's rachel sleeping...she worked extra-hard that week!

Last year during nationals as I was dying of heat exhaustion, i crept behind the red cloth covering the back of our pit and slept happily on a pile of floppies

my teacher made some baby-blue ones and i got to take it home... the foam makes noises when you move your head, so it gets kind of annoying.

i took a floppy home from river rage last year and kept it on my sofa for napping. my roomate systematically destroyed it though... he'd just sit there and crush all the foam... punk.
i need new foam peanuts.

Hey Jon,

Don't be too harsh on your punk roommate for breaking all your floppy peanuts........I spent many happy minutes crunching those things.......almost as much fun as popping packing bubbles!

hehe :-)

one red, one blue.. blue one signed by Dean (we woke him up at riverrage to get it :-).. they are amongst the many 'pillows' on my bed..

and hey, we had some left over in the shop this year during building.. those combined with the goal ramp made a comfy spot for 'power naps' for the 4 days straight we didn't go back to the dorms (to shower of course the exception.. thank god we had that monday off!)

i want one of the big 24' or 36' rubber balls from past years.. those make great bouncy things like they sell in toys-r-us for the little kids.. we spent more time sitting on those balls than we did pickin' them up :-)

happy slinky-ing to all :-)

Hey, don't knock sleeping with floppies. Just kidding....I don't actually use them as pillows to sleep on...But I have a red and a blue one from last year's game and at first they were used to kindof decorate....but now both of them are hanging on my wall.
