Congratulations Singapore SMART !

This past weekend 10 kids from Singapore flew exactly half way around the world to Ambler, Pennsylvania for a week of Robot competitions, cultural exchanges, and touring around the US.

We would just like to congratulate our good friends from Singapore S.M.A.R.T, FTC 747 & 746 for placing 8th and 13th at the PA Championship on Saturday and winning the FTC Think Award (Team 747).

We just returned from a day of touring NYC. Now its off for two days of exchange at Wissahickon HS. (Home of Miss Daisy) Kids will be paired together to attend classes and activities Monday through Wednesday this week.

Then its off to the Chesapeake Regional for Team 341 and a flight back to Singapore for our friends on Thursday.

Congratulations again! Hopefully we will see you in Atlanta and in Singapore this summer.

Re: Congratulations Singapore SMART !

I've had the chance to meet and speak with the singapore team on numerous occasions in Atlanta FVC last year. I've seen their teamwork and dedication to their robots firsthand when partnered with them for several qualification matches. They are a great team and are very clever. You are lucky to get to exchange with them.

Hope to see them again in Atlanta this year. Although, they lost Penn, I hope they somehow get through by lottery.
