HELP!!! with animation

I need some help with an animation i am doing with our robot. I made an animation using Inventor 2008 in the Inventor studio. I got the arm to move up and down but I can not get it to open/close in a pincer movement.
Any help would be appreciated.
Here is a link to one of the renderings.

Re: HELP!!! with animation

Hi Derek,

Glad you found your way in here!

Like I posted over on the other message board: you should investigate using CONSTRAINT ANIMATE within Studio (rather than COMPONENT ANIMATE). I will assume that your robot assembly is constrained using mates, aligns, etc... and not constructed using all grounded components.

The people posting here have done it all!

Our regional was a week and a half ago and our first-year team did pretty good.

Re: HELP!!! with animation

Yeah i definately costrained most of the file. I just dont know how to get the pincer movement and it really is annoying because this is the only thing that is in my way of getting this done.
