To help other programmers bring ALL your installation disks

Just back from my first regional (the 2008 Florida Regional) and would like to suggest to all programmers out there to bring all your installation disks. Someone (sorry don't remember who) needed a Visual C installation disk but since I don't use it I couldn't help them.

Re: To help other programmers bring ALL your installation disks

That is a good Idea, I will try to remember that since I have all of the disks that we recieved in the kit of parts from this year and last year(our two years involved)and we don't even use half of the disks we have either.

Please keep in mind software is under copyright restrictions and certain software has been licensed to teams by the vendor for the use of that team. Gracious Professionalism doesn't allow you to break copyright law to help a team out when they need it.

Re: To help other programmers bring ALL your installation disks

Also maybe keep your team's registration keys/numbers in a secure place, so in case you lose your installation stuff, you can still use someone else's install to reinstall your copy.
