Fundraising for team advisor stipend
Does your team raise money to pay, at least partially, a mentor or team advisor to organize your team? If so, can you say how this works? How much is involved? What do you tell the funders?
Thanks. |

Re: Fundraising for team advisor stipend
Getting HS teachers in Boston has been a challenge for us, but the ones we have get a stipend from their school, not exactly sure on the amount, I want to say something like $3000. You should contact your school and see if coaches, drama club directors, etc. get paid for what they do, it would be equivalent.
As far as sponsors, I would say feel them out, you may want to just take that money out of the general team fun, or depending on the sponsor they may want to fund that specifically... |
