Go to Post A lot of students decribe FIRST as the best thing that happened to their life. Once a student gets hooked, they don't want to leave FIRST for any cause. I am one of them. - Arefin Bari [more]

Yes, once again, as part of our shameless promotion tactics, We are bringing up the subject of the Ford Sweet Repeat invitational.

Due to an unexpected athletic event (and we all know that outside the realm of FIRST, athletics are the King of the World), we have changed the location of our invitational, but nothing else will be altered.

The competition will take place at Team #349's home school, the International Academy. This is a public high school, with students attending from 13 different districts in Oakland County. It is located at Square Lake Rd. and Squirrel Rd., in Bloomfield Hills. It is very close to I-75 and M-59.

We are offering lots of fun, including breakfast and lunch concessions, official FIRST ware, a video contest, an all girls best 2-out-of-3 match, a FIRST trivia contest, great music, comfortable surroundings, and the FABULOUS DR. JOE JOHNSON as our arena announcer, plus lots of other familiar faces.

Still being held on October 7, 2000, the pits open at 7 am and close around 4 pm. William Clay Ford Jr will be in attendance to award the championship trophies to the winning alliance.

Please see our website for registration forms,

or email me at skrussel@umich.edu for any other information. We look forward to seeing you there.
