Just wanted to share with everyone a video that one of our mentors put together re-capping our Florida Regional experience.

Great video. Your robot was very unique and great fun to watch (plus the "garbage lid hat" I saw a few people wearing was creative!). Thanks for including footage of when the robot righted itself; that was such a memorable moment at the 2008 FL Regional.

Side Note: Was your team at the '06 FL Regional & Mission Mayhem with a another great robot? If so, I don't think you had the EMS name (which I like).

Thanks! I agree that was one of the most memorable moments of the event for us. Too bad doing it gets us a penalty... but since it was so early in the match, we were able to more than make up the score

Yeah, in '06 we won the Florida Regional with SPAM and Krunch, and had lots of fun at Mission Mayhem. I remember you guys had a great robot also. Our team name used to be Lakerbotix. This year we have team members from more schools, and we also became a 4H club, so we decided to come up with a new image.

How could I forget that you were part of the '06 winning alliance?! Your team produces some amazing, innovative robots. This video is a nice keepsake as your team continues to grow. (Plus I enjoyed hearing Dean K.; I was not in the arena for his speech.)

I just wanted to second that you guys have a great robot, and a great team. Your team was always very gracious and pleasant to work with... I wish we had more opportunities to compete together! Thats what champs are for though
