Re: Minnesota Regional Webcast

Alright we will work on the audio issue tomorrow. We may also have some fixes in the works for the video as well.

I should be on here and SOAP Gameday more tomorrow as I will be sitting at the video table most of the day running the real-time archiving to SOAP

Re: Minnesota Regional Webcast

Ok, it just occurred to me why we had no audio.
The audio/video drop that was set up for us to use, was just a video drop. There was actually no audio cables connected to the a/v distribution panel.

So even though our computer was connected to the audio out ports of the distribution panel, there was no audio coming out of it.

Also, we were having bandwidth issues. I guess we underestimated how many people watch an event! Today (well I guess yesterday now), we were pretty much maxing out a 10mbps connection to a server hosted in a datacenter. On Friday, we will have 2 servers each with their own 10mbps line to distribute the load a bit more. We might even add a 3rd broadcasting server depending on the load and if we can secure one.

Re: Minnesota Regional Webcast

Ok, the audio issue is solved.

On the other hand, we are short on bandwidth. So that still is an issue.
