Judging by his caption, I'd say they machined the wheels from scratch. A couple good places to go wheel-shopping are www.ifirobotics.com and www.andymark.biz.

....Wow. This is OLD.

Anyway, we had them milled out of some aluminum billet. Took a while, was overweight, and not worth it.

But the tread is nitrile food grade conveyor from McMaster.
