We've used the reverse pattern in both 2007 and 2008 - 2 Omnis in front, 4 Tractions in back.

Works really well. This configuration improves turning without lowering the center wheels. It will also give all the lateral traction you'll need to keep your bot in place when its being pushed side-ways.



Also, just who are you exactly? Your name contains the number 1323 which indicates that you are from MadTown Robotics. Yet your account says you are from 100.... I don't know any Bill Wethers on our team....
