new member question

sorry to ask what's probably a dumb question, but I just registered here after being away from FIRST for a few years. I've been working on starting a FTC/Vex team at my son's school and someone on the FTC blog recommended this site.

question is, in the profile it asks me to list a team and a program. Should I list the program we're looking to join, FTC, but are not in yet or should I list the program we used to be in, FRC, but are not anymore? If so, is it wrong to use the old team number if we had to quit or should I show no number and wait to see if we get a FTC number if we decide to do FTC?

Thanks, and sorry if this isnt' the right place for this question.

Jeff

Re: new member question

You can just put the program you want to enroll in and the team number...

doesn't really matter cause you can go back and change it later on

Re: new member question

I would go ahead and put FTC as the program, and then list the team number as 0000 if I were you. Then when you enroll, I would change the number to what you are part of.
Hope this helps!
