But what FIRST can do is inspire us students to go on and make a difference and lend a helping hand to such countries. Personally, I have used my skills learned from FIRST to start a club of my own to raise money for humanitarian aid in Sudan. It's not much, but its the fact that us FIRSTers can recognize that we are fortunate not to have to worry about such things people do in third world countries. But we can step it up and really make a difference. But thats just what I think. |
