Congratulations to team 359 - Hawaiian Kids

I would like to extend a huge congratulations to team 359 - the Hawaiian kids for winning the first Hawaii Regional Chairmans award. Through personal interaction, I can tell you that these guys were the most deserving contender for this award in Hawaii this year and it was a great start to the first regional!

Re: Congratulations to team 359 - Hawaiian Kids

I totally agree with Bharat on this one. The Hawaiian Kids are great and very friendly people. They're put so much into the program and are great when interacting with other teams. I loved their attitudes towards our team in Chesapeake and also NJ last year. They also know our mentors and interact with everyone at their regionals.

Great job 359...ya done good

Congrats to Glenn and his team! You guys were more than generous with your advice and resources over the years....even sending us those omni-wheels and hubs when we asked you about using them. Thanks for helping us to be a better team. I hope we can still ask you for help! You know we'll still need it now and then! I feel none of the Hawaii teams would be here without you guys and McKinley leading the way. See you guys in Atlanta!

Re: Congratulations to team 359 - Hawaiian Kids

I would like to wholeheartedly congratulate team 359. They have done amazing things for FIRST in Hawaii, as well as on the mainland. If it had not been for their hard work, diligence, and all-around fun-loving and positive attitude, we would not have been here this weekend. For years, they have been going to regionals all over the mainland spreading the Hawaiian spirit of Aloha and getting people excited about FIRST in Hawaii. This weekend, a dream came true with the Hawaiian Regional. I personally spoke to them about how they managed to build up the region in so little time. It is no small task when one can't simply hop in the freeway and drive to the next nearest high school. I truly thank them and congratulate them for tackling this mind-boggling task, as well as accomplishing many other feats. I know they, as well as all the other Hawaiian teams, will continue to make sure Hawaii grows and prospers in the FIRST world.

359, aloha and mahalo.

Re: Congratulations to team 359 - Hawaiian Kids

Thank you so much for all the congratulations! Our Team & I worked very hard to lead as an example for other teams & to ensure that the Hawaii regional would be a success. It's an amazing honor to be the recipients of this prestigous award & it would not have ben possible if it weren't for teams like 25 and others who have welcomed us into their home states & allowed us to impact their teams.

THANK YOU! SEE YOU IN ATLANTA!
