What a terrific, intense pair of final matches between #1 and #2.

The Bayou qualifies for the "Most Exciting Final" thread!

Re: 2008 Bayou Regional

Well 2080 just got home about an hour ago so I wanted to come on here and thank and congratulate who i need to.
Thanks
34 & 555 for picking us to be your alliance partners, we had so much fun playing with you, I think we could have gone all the way if we had not tipped over, but thanks for also giving us our first ever matches in elimination rounds it was awesome, I am still shaking. A special thanks to 34's captain for taking a chance on us.

To all teams we were partnered with who helped us get in the high spot we were in. There were no real horrible match ups for us this weekend and that helped us a lot.

To team Picayunne, for always helping us out.

To the crew and volunteers for making this one of the best regionals I have been to.

And congratulations to teams 1477, 16, and 440 for winning the Regional, wish we could have played yall.

to team 364 for the Regional Chairmans award when, you really deserved it.

To Scott Marshall for earning and winning the Regional Volunteer award, you really deserve it. You are the reason why we have a team, and a robot, you helped us so much in design, electronics, programming, you name it you helped either this year or last year. You really deserve it.
And to any teams or mentor's I am forgetting I am sure there are some.

Re: 2008 Bayou Regional

Congratulations teams 1477, 440 and 16. Your alliance was unstoppable, and I could not be happier losing to an alliance as great as yours. The design of your robots and the cooperation between the teams really showed in your alliance.

I also want to give a big shout out to all the volunteers that made the Bayou Regional possible. Their hard work really paid off, and I know that all teams that went to the Bayou were happy with how the competition was ran.

Re: 2008 Bayou Regional

Congrats to the regional winners and chairman's winners.

1279 thanks to 499 and 945 for their help. It is unfortunate that our alliance had to replay a match that we won so confidently (70-0)... but if we had to lose to a team, i prefer losing to the other nj team, 555.

Great regional to watch and cant wait for Atlanta...

Congratulations to 1477, 16, and 440, as well as 364 for Chairman's.

I want to thank 364 and 1927 for a great alliance and couple of rounds. It was a pleasure to play with you.

Re: 2008 Bayou Regional

I would just like to thank everyone for all the love they have shown my team and our alliance. We worked extremely hard to get to the position to do well in this regional and the amount of other quality teams made it a great and tough regional to compete in.

Re: 2008 Bayou Regional

The 2008 Bayou Regional was great. Another awesome year. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped make it great. (I was one of them) Also, congratulations to teams 16, 1477, and 440. Your robots were great. And thanks for everyone in our alliance for trying really hard through the elimination rounds. One thing I wont forget was exploding bacon sayin "Randomizer Randomizer, Oi Oi Oi" Thats still stuck in my head lol. Hope we go back next year

Thanks for all your support guys! I'll pass the world to my team that we are liked! I don't think we are on Nasa's, 118, good side. We took away their win in Texas and now Louisiana.
