I'd just like to verify, what would appropriate attire be for guys? Khakis? An Oxford? Or are we supposed to go all our and get a tux?

It looks like Khakis and an Oxford + Tie from the pictures.

well from the picture of the two guys walking one of them is me with the yellow shirt

I will be wearing something more casual I hope it all depends on my date because she doesn't know what she will be wearing and I will probably try to match

but remember this is a robotics prom you could wear a plant on your hear and nobody would care

but look presentable

maybe a business casual
