I wonder if it has a hybrid control option?
Folks,
My tongue is firmly planted in my cheek. Notice the spiffy-looking car described in this article (http://machinedesign.com/ContentItem/72274/72274.aspx). If Tata can build a car for $2500 , I think we should be able to build some pretty impressive FIRST Overdrive machines from the KOP plus $3000 worth of additional parts, plus free donated labor. The article is interesting. Maybe thinking about it will inspire someone's new/next career (or stock investment). At the least, studying Tata's design process might give us all a lesson in separating the essential from the nice-to-have. Blake Last edited by gblake : 05-04-2008 at 00:57. |

Re: I wonder if it has a hybrid control option?
I'll try to dig up some information from my uncle about the Nano on how it's production costs are kept so low. He's an engineer for the TATA group in India so I'll see what I can get.
There's also a lot of other stuff in India Today about the car and the company profile and fact sheet. http://indiatoday.digitaltoday.in/in...7&iss ueid=47 |
