Who I'd Like to Meet - 2008 Championship Edition

Anybody I can recognize or can recognize me to be sure... I'll be wearing my customary Qbranch sticker somewhere on my person...

Other than CD people, I'd like to (re)meet (and hopefully not run in to like in 2006 ): Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates, Woody Flowers, Dean Kamen, and Sergey Brin... and many more that i'm not sure will or will not be coming to championship... I've herd a rumor the mythbusters are going to make an appearance.

hey guys, what about meeting people who don't post on CD. or don't have CD accounts... i think if you look hard enough, you might find some extraordinary people out there besides CD

i don't have a list, for this simple reason. I want to meet EVERYONE, i think if your looking for one or two people, you might pass by 100 different people who could be really cool that you don't notice because your busy trying to find someone on the list.

I was sitting at the top of the stands in Philly, when Bethany led a mentor from Rolling Thunder up and introduced her as Cynette. I expected she had a question about our team, but instead she introduced herself as a "Chief Delphi Stalker", and I was one of the folks on her list. My wife was sitting next to me and laughed at me the rest of the day.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Barry Bonzack, and had an opportunity to talk with him as we drove in on Saturday.

Well, I could have said I was Santa Claus - making my list and checking it twice! And it worked! I told a few of the kids I had a list and some like Bethany were determined that I find all of the people on their team that were on my list!

And I'm sure I was the nicest stalker anyone of you ever met!

But Josh, I think for Atlanta, maybe you should make the list and I'll follow you around!

Looking at the fact, that I've been away from Robotics, Chiefdelphi and FIRST, in general, for last 8 months, I'm gonna be wandering around first two days catching up with some chat buddies and hunting down some good'ol friends.
