Re: mic on coaches?

That I can understand: "That %(&#% just tipped us!" While they'd never call the team a name to their face, it wouldn't be unexpected that it might slip out. This might be a good reason for not publicizing alliance zone conversations. |

One of the many things that popped into my head (along with the one Gary posted) "Leave them alone, they can't do &%@$." I would never say this to anyone (even on my own team) off the playing field, but I can imagine myself saying it to my drivers or other drivers while coaching if they were playing defense on a robot that was not the top priority. If I tried to think of a way to say this in GP terms the match might be over by the time I said another word. |

Re: mic on coaches?
I think this would be a great idea. If it can't be taped then it should be left unsaid. Vulgarities have no place in FIRST. It doesn't matter the situation. I don't care if you lost in the last second. I don't care if your robot just broke in half. It doesn't matter. There is still no reason to curse. It is just unnecessary and outright rude.
With that being said, I think it would be interesting to hear what the opposing alliance was saying throughout the match. |

Re: mic on coaches?
I was mic'd in CT.
I totally forgot about it until I was back in the pits. So no, it did not "cramp my style". |
